Global iPrEx Results Released

On 23 November, the iPrEx study released positive results that found that a daily dose of the antiretroviral tablet, Truvada, was safe and reduced HIV infection risk among men who have sex with men (MSM) by an average of 43.8% overall. iPrEx enrolled 2,499 participants at 11 sites in 6 countries (South Africa, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Thailand and the US) on 4 continents. RHI congratulates the investigators and iPrEx team on their successful study.
